Linking the Landscape ~ The Cobaw Biolink

Newham & District Landcare engaged me to produce a video to promote the important role of the Cobaw Biolink, a connection of landscape on both private and public land between Mount Macedon and the Cobaw Range.

The video will be used to engage landholders and residents and make them aware that their contribution, no matter how big or small, is environmentally vital.

‘Storm Choir’ Workshops

Cat Moser ~ Storm Choir

Musician and Artist Cat Moser, received funding from the Moorabool Shire 'Recovery through the Arts' Program to facilitate a series of 'Storm Choir' workshops for the local community.

I sat down with her to discuss the magic of music and the impact it has on all of us.

Bridging the Divide ~ Climate Conversations

As part of the broader CoolER Changes program, MRSC engaged me to produce a series of videos that documented conversations between young and older generations.. Drawing inspiration from the ABC series ‘You Can’t Ask That’, we paired participants together and asked them a series of questions around the theme of climate change.

The video will be used to encourage conversations about climate as well as to launch and support the CoolER Changes program moving forward

The Big Trentham Thank You

On the 9th June 2021, Trentham, Victoria was hit with a storm like no other, leaving hundreds of residents without power or water for many days.

The heroic and selfless actions of emergency services and the unsung heroes of the community were many and astounding.

This film is a Thank You from the Trentham community to those people who showed courage and selflessness following the storm event.

It was originally to be played as part of ‘The Big Trentham Thank You’, an event organised by a group of passionate local volunteers to say thank you and to raise funds for our emergency services. The latest lockdown meant that the event had to be cancelled but the thank you still went ahead online.

Seed Cinema

In 2018, I co-founded Seed Cinema, a film-making program for school children aged 8-13years, that culminated in a free outdoor public screening.

Seed Cinema was a not-for-profit program, that encouraged and taught storytelling through the art of film-making. It gave children the tools to produce an original short film.

Through a series of workshops and online support tools, students were inspired to produce a short film with an original soundscape or score.

In our inaugural year we had 70 registered families and screened 21 films.
